#MightyMeets debut popped off last weekend with our studio opening its door to the public for the first time! We were taken aback by the response from our local toy community in Singapore and the night was a blend of arts, culture, good food and interaction all coming together under one roof.
Our team was met with smiles and laughter on Friday night as participants from all walks of life gathered for an exclusive tour of Mighty Jaxx’s workspace and a hands-on introductory workshop on resin casting conducted by local toy sculptor, Daniel Yu.
To cap off the evening, everyone sat down for a mini barbecue spread prepared by Chef Neo and chatted away into the night.
We were glad to have befriended many like-minded individuals and being able to share our startup experiences with emerging entrepreneurs like ourselves was very fulfilling. The success of this small-scale event has spurred us to come up with more similar events to give back to the toy community who has shown us their unstinting support. We’re hoping to push #MightyMeets overseas in the near future to reach out to our global audience as well!
For those of you who weren’t able to participate in our #MightyMeets last weekend, don’t worry— we’ve got some photos on deck to recap! Just go to your nearest barbecue joint and pretend you didn’t miss out on anything!
