The Freeny’s Hidden Dissectibles: My Little Pony collection follows the chronological order of the series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. In Series 1 of the collection, you got your hands on the main 6 MLP characters, and now in Series 2, you’ll get your pick of favorites from Friendship Is Magic Season 2.

Don’t hold your horses, it’s time to meet the ponies of Series 2!

Big McInstosh MLP
BIG MCINTOSH

Also known as Big Mac, Big McIntosh is Apple Jack’s older brother. His calm and easy-going demeanor is unlike Apple Jack’s stubbornness and inflexibility, despite this contrast, he shares a very close bond with his sister. A pony of few words, Big McIntosh tends to reaffirm things with “eeeyup" or "nnope".

If you need your apples picked and transported, Big McIntosh is your pony! He is well skilled in farming and has great physical strength. A handy-pony, you can rely on Big McIntosh to help with repairs, just like he did with Pinkie Pie in fixing the bridge in It's About Time

Would Big McIntosh make a great addition to your collection of My Little Pony toys? Eeeyup!

Granny Smith MLP
GRANNY SMITH

Yes, ponies do grow old! Granny Smith is the grandmother of Apple Jack, Big McIntosh, and Applebloom. Famous for making apple pies, it’s little wonder her cutie mark is a pie. Did you know? Granny Smith is colored after her namesake apple.

If you’re not caught up with all seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, this bit is a little spoiler-y. You’ve been warned! We’re jumping ahead to the series finale, where co-director Jim Miller replied to a fan question about Granny Smith’s future with “No one lives forever...".

Derpy Hooves MLP
DERPY HOOVES

Everyone loves a fan favorite and there’s none other like Derpy Hooves! Eagle-eyed fans noticed a googly-eyed Pegasus at Twilight Sparkle’s welcome party and a following was born. Affectionately named by fans as Derpy Hooves for her cross-eyed "derpy" expression, the name got adopted by both the show’s crew and Hasbro.

Did you know? Derpy Hooves has “Where’s Waldo” type cameo appearances as a special nod to the fans.

As your My Little Pony collection grows, the dissected Derpy Hooves from Series 2 of Freeny’s Hidden Dissectibles: My Little Pony would certainly be a special addition!

Cheerilee MLP
CHEERIELEE

A supporting character in Friendship is Magic, Cheerielee is a teacher at Ponyville Schoolhouse. She shares her name and design with a Gen 3 Earth pony which was later combined with Cherry Blossom to create what is known as her Core 7 incarnation. This design was further developed into her current appearance.

Cherrielee is the teacher to the Cutie Mark Crusaders that feature as the rare pieces of Series 2 of the collection. If you’re lucky enough to collect Cheerilee and the Cutie Crusaders, you could recreate Ponyville Schoolhouse in your MLP collection.

Twilight Sparkle MLP
TWILIGHT SPARKLE

The central character of MLP: Friendship is Magic, Twilight Sparkle was sent to Ponyville by Princess Celestia to study the magic of friendship. Twilight Sparkle would send friendship reports back to Princess Celestia with the help of her best friend and assistant, Spike (also in this Series of collectibles!). Twilight Sparkle would go on to gain the title “Princess of Friendship”.

Did you know? Friendship is Magic creator Lauren Faust was inspired by her G1 pony Twilight toy to create Twilight Sparkle.

See Twilight Sparkle in a new dimension with Jason Freeny’s intricate and iconic dissection style, it’s a fascinating look into the lead character of Friendship is Magic.

Trixie MLP
TRIXIE

Trixie first arrived in the episode Boast Busters, introducing herself as “The Great and Powerful Trixie", claiming to be the most powerful pony in all of Equestria. She often appears as an antagonist and speaks in the third person. You don’t always get to collect an antagonist-type character, but here’s your chance with Series 2 of Freeny’s Hidden Dissectibles: My Little Pony.

Did you know? According to Lauren Faust, Trixie attended Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns! Trixie is also one of the few ponies to have a single reflection in her eyes.

SPIKE & APPLEBLOOM AND SWEETIEBELLE & SCOOTALOO
SPIKE & APPLEBLOOM AND SWEETIEBELLE & SCOOTALOO

Now meet the rare ponies of the collection! The youngest of the group, Applebloom, Sweetiebelle, and Scootaloo are also known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Cutie marks are a rite of passage for young ponies, and the Crusaders are on a mission to find their purpose and gain their Cutie Marks. They attend Ponyville Schoolhouse and are taught by none other than Cheerielee.

Spike might not be a pony, but as Twilight Sparkles’ best friend we had to include him! Psst… Did you know Spike has a crush on Rarity? If you have Rarity from Series 1 of Freeny’s Hidden Dissectibles: MLP, you probably could watch Spike swoon when you place them together!

Being around the same age as the Cutie Mark Crusaders, we knew he’d fit right in on this very special base. Spike & Applebloom share a base, while Sweetiebelle & Scootaloo share another. If you’re lucky enough to collect both these rare pieces, you can combine both bases to create a larger collectible of the Cutie Mark Crusaders!

Rainbow Dash (Enchanted Sonic Rainboom) MLP
RAINBOW DASH (ENCHANTED SONIC RAINBOOM)

Everyone knows and loves Rainbow Dash! The ultra-rare Rainbow Dash (Enchanted Sonic Rainboom) is probably the most magical My Little Pony piece we’ve released so far. With her translucent rainbow effect and glitter for that touch of magic, if you unbox this piece you know you’ve been blessed by Princess Celestia!

Did you know? The first-ever MLP anatomy sculpt was Rainbow Dash. Hand sculpted by Jason Freeny, check out the original piece in our previous blog post here.

Now that you’ve met every pony from Series 2 of the collection, which pony do you hope to unbox most?
