Introducing XXPOSED

We are quite known for our dissected art toys. The XXRAY style by Jason Freeny has been applied to many pop culture icons, bringing a different perspective to our favourite characters.

From the greatest superheros (and villains!) of the DC Universe, to our childhood favourite Looney Tunes, and the evergreen Sesame Street, the XXRAY series has reached far and wide! Far from just art toys, the style has been applied onto our Freeny's Hidden Dissectibles blindbox series and features on some of our lifestyle pieces!

XXPOSED is the new series of dissected art toys created by renowned artist Jason Freeny. First featured in Freeny’s “Plastic Surgeon” exhibit at the Megumi Ogita Gallery in Tokyo, the XXPOSED series now comes to life at Mighty Jaxx. Exploring a new perspective of each character’s inner anatomies, XXPOSED creates an interactive experience when separating the two halves to expose the innards.

What better way to introduce the series than with one of the biggest pop culture icons - SpongeBob SquarePants!

The XXPOSED SpongeBob SquarePants sits at 6" but don't let his small stature fool you! This fine piece is made from premium polystone and is perfectly split down the middle to xxpose (haha get it?) his cross-section anatomy.

Every organ and skeletal part is carefully carved out of the figure's sides and is then painstakingly hand-painted. Who knew a sponge would have this many bones?!

The XXPOSED SpongeBob can be displayed in halves or as a whole. Each half is fitted with magnets to hold the figure together. Wow your friends when you pull the figure apart and show off that intricate anatomy. You could even play a game - name that organ!
