A Love for the Pie

Fresh, steaming hot pizza is one of Garfield’s all-time favorites! As he’s been around since the 1970s, it’s safe to assume that he has consumed thousands of pizzas in his life so far.

This love for pizza has also made it into his cartoon—Episode 10 from the first season of The Garfield Show is titled “Perfect Pizza”.

…Garfield while he’s eating his donuts; his favorite treat to go with a cup of coffee. In fact, this pastry has shown sentience in the series, calling Jon on the phone once. It also serves as Garfield’s conscience at times.

Another dessert Garfield loves indulging in is pudding. In fact, he goes as far as to steal it from the fridge when no one’s looking—a running gag in the comic strip.

Layered Cheesy Goodness

While all these dishes are delicious, one rules over all—layers upon layers of cheesy deliciousness. As Garfield puts it, this pasta is “nature's most perfect food". 

Garfield has attempted to combine two of his favorites into one, stuffing a piece of lasagna between two slices of pizzas. Jon was against this idea initially, yet had a change of heart after taking a bite!
